AP/AR Coordinator - This individual will manage the day to day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions. AR duties include preparing the daily deposit, updating the PMSC system, creating various reports for management and handling customer service requests from internal and external customers. AP responsibilities include the processing of various types of accounts payable transactions focusing primarily on the data entry of claims invoices.
Qualifications/Experience Required: High school graduate, college degree a plus. 2-4 years prior customer service accounts receivable/payables experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Excel. Experience with electronic invoice imaging and workflow helpful.
Litigation Assistant - This individual will provide administrative support to a team of Claims Specialists with various tasks related to the set up and handling of a claim. Duties include transcribing legal and medical claims file dictation. Three plus years administrative experience as well as transcription experience required with typing skills of at least 65 wpm. Law firm experience and knowledge of medical terminology a plus. Strong written, verbal and analytical skills required.
Underwriter - This individual will manage an underwriting territory including day-to-day underwriting activities, specifically in the areas of risk assessment, loss analysis, and underwriting of renewals and new business. College degree required, preferably with a degree in Insurance/Risk Management. Prefer a minimum of two to three years of Commercial Underwriting experience. GA P&C license or the ability to get the license within 6 months of employment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Agency Select Account Sales Representative - This individual will be responsible for selling commercial property and casualty insurance products to select commercial accounts within MAG Mutual Insurance Company. Applicant must have at least 3 years of commercial property and casualty insurance sales experience and knowledge in working with commercial insurance products. Experience with Applied agency automation systems preferred. Includes growth incentive on new business in addition to base salary. Property and casualty insurance agent license is required.
Sales Associates (Raleigh and Orlando) - We are seeking two individuals who will provide support to the Sales team, one in our Orlando office; the other in Raleigh.  Specific duties include:
- prospecting new business for solo physicians
- identifying key accounts of two or more policyholders;
- initiating contact at renewal, explaining product features and benefits and taking action to retain these accounts
- acting as liaison with the Underwriting and Risk Management Departments to expedite service requests
Qualifications and experience: College degree and a Florida Property & Casualty License or the ability to get licensed. Sales or insurance experience would be beneficial. Excellent customer service skills a must. Well organized and able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Assistant General Counsel - This individual will provide legal advice and guidance for multiple companies, products and services delivered to medical professionals in a multi state area. All aspects of general corporate law are included in the job duties, i.e. contracts, developing insurance products, employment issues, leases, corporate legal actions, legislative affairs/ advocacy and corporate formation or acquisition. Requirements include a law degree, a Georgia bar license and at least 7-10 years experience in insurance, corporate and/or healthcare law. Multi-state experience also preferred.
