Alan has been in the information technology field for almost 30 years, with more than half that time in the insurance industry. Prior to joining MAG Mutual, Alan provided systems solutions to clients in the public utility, manufacturing and distribution business sectors. In his role as Vice-President for MAG Mutual Insurance Company since 1992, he has overseen the development of the Information Technology department throughout the Company’s period of significant growth. He was appointed as MAG Mutual’s first CIO in 1999.
Alan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Hofstra University and has served as an elected-officer in the Information Systems Consultants Association. He is a member of various Customer Advisory Boards for system vendors and has spoken at several industry conferences on relevant technology topics.
