Chip Goen’s 35-years of experience in the insurance industry and his related entrepreneurial experience lends itself well to heading the sales division of MMIA, a subsidiary of MAG Mutual, servicing policyholders with medical professional liability, personal and practice insurance products.
Prior to joining us, Chip worked with Prudential Insurance as the Georgia Managing Director and was in charge of 15 property and casualty offices throughout the state. He struck out on his own and then started a multi-line property and casualty insurance agency – Affiliated Insurance Group – which grew to five locations in the metro Atlanta area. He sold the successful enterprise to a national brokerage firm in 1995.
Chip obtained a Bachelors degree in Management Science from The Florida Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and is currently completing his Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation.
