Mr. Hammett was named Chief Financial Officer of MAG Mutual Insurance Company, April, 2008. He is a Certified Public Accountant and also serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for the Board of Directors. Mr. Hammett joined the Company in 1989 as a Senior Accountant and has held such positions as Assistant Controller, Director, Controller and Vice President. Prior to joining MAG Mutual, Mr. Hammett was employed as Assistant Controller at Creditor Resources, Inc. He started his career as a Staff Accountant and soon after was promoted to Senior Treaty Accountant at Alexander Howden Group, U.S. Mr. Hammett holds a bachelor’s degree from Shorter College, and is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Insurance Accounting and Systems Administration.
