How often should clinical personnel be recertified for Basic Life Support?

All clinical personnel should be recertified in Basic Life Saving, First Aid and Safety Policy and Procedure at least yearly. Remember that any advanced equipment and supplies need oversight, at all times patients are present, by personnel adequately trained to use them.
