Do I need to have a MagMutual.com account to get a quote online?

No. You will need an account to bind coverage or save a quote, but you can receive an initial quote without one.

I completed the online form to get a quote. How long does the process take?

It will take you about 10 minutes to complete the form, and you will receive a quote immediately. If your responses fall within our standard underwriting guidelines, coverage can be bound within minutes. If additional underwriting information is required, you will be contacted by a representative within one to two business days.

How do I know if my policy is claims-made or occurrence-based?

You can find that information on the Declarations Page of your policy.

What is the difference between claims-made and occurrence-based policies?

Claims-made policies cover only those claims that are made or first reported during the policy period. Any claims made or reported outside of the policy period are not covered. Occurrence policies provide coverage for all incidents or events occurring during the policy period, regardless of when the claim is filed or if the physician involved still has the policy.

My state is not listed on the online quote form. Can I still get coverage from MagMutual?
