Jamie Billotte Moses

Jamie is a board-certified appellate specialist and has appeared in numerous state and federal appellate courts across the country. Jamie is a past chair of The Florida Bar’s Appellate Court Rules Committee and The Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Certification Committee, and she currently serves as the Pro Bono Co-Chair for The Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section. Jamie has 30 years of experience in insurance defense litigation and coverage and bad faith litigation.

Prior to joining MMPO Defense, Jamie was a partner at one of the largest firms in the country where she specialized in appeals, trial support, and insurance defense litigation.  Jamie is a past president of the Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid Society, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. Jamie is very active in the Central Florida community and is the current Chair of the IDignity Board of Directors. IDignity helps citizens obtain their lost or stolen identification papers so that they may, for example, obtain employment, apply for benefits, and/or secure housing. She is also a Special Olympics volunteer.

Jamie was born and raised in Southern California and attended the University of California at Los Angeles. After college, Jamie attended the University of Notre Dame Law School where she was an editor on the Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. Jamie moved to Florida immediately after law school and has practiced in Florida ever since. Jamie has two grown children.  In her spare time, Jamie trains for and competes in triathlons in all distances including the Ironman distance.
