This session is part of a two-part series intended to increase your knowledge regarding characteristics of sexual misconduct within the physician community. At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the sexual misconduct literature and the particular challenges of research of this topic
  • Discuss the Australian, Canadian, and United States literature on the subject of sexual misconduct
  • Discuss predictors evident in training of sexual misconduct later on in practice Discuss the incidence of sexual misconduct
  • Discuss the demographics of the perpetrators and victims of sexual misconduct
  • Discuss the recommendations of authors regarding the prevention, investigation, and repercussions of sexual misconduct
