Benjamin Cheek, MD

Dr. Benjamin (Ben) Cheek has been a practicing OB-GYN for 40 years in Coumbus, South Carolina and has performed over 7,000 deliveries. He is still a practicing physician and occasionally still delivers. He enjoys teaching 3rd and 4th year Mercer medical students.

Dr. Cheek became involved in the MagMutual board after meeting its leaders and other board members. He saw it as a great opportunity for continued learning and a chance to defend physicians. This physician involvement has kept Dr. Cheek on the MagMutual board since 1998. He has served under every board chair and is committed to defending and protecting physicians and the practice of medicine.

He is a former president of the Georgia OB/GYN Society and former District IV Chair of ACOG.
