We're committed to strengthening the practice of medicine.
Our grants reflect the values of our PolicyOwners
One of our core precepts is maximizing our positive influence, and the MagMutual Foundation was created to help us deliver on that promise. We are advocates for our PolicyOwners, and work to enact meaningful change in the practice of medicine within the communities we serve.
- The applicant must have a letter of recommendation from a policyholder within the MagMutual Group, and be a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
- Applications for grants of $15,000 or less are favored.
The request or proposal should support:
o The delivery of pro-bono medical care to the underserved and free access clinics.
o The promotion of diversity within the healthcare profession through the sponsorship of medical school scholarships for the education of minority and underserved students.
o Medical organizations whose purpose is to promote the well-being of those impaired healthcare workers by directly caring for those who suffer from substance abuse or emotional issues.
o A non-profit entity supporting organizations who dedicate themselves to enhancing the well-being of those who deliver healthcare, and improving the legal, medical or social environment within which MAG Mutual policyholders practice. (Qualifying states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia)
