Megan practices in the areas of professional negligence, licensing, board inquires, credentialing and privileging issues. She has advised and represented numerous medical professionals in medical malpractice litigation and in front of their respective licensing boards. Megan has also represented healthcare companies, staffing companies, nursing homes, mental healthcare facilities, and insurance companies in cases involving claims of negligent hiring, negligent retention, negligent credentialing, as well as professional negligence, negligence, HIPAA breaches, and bad faith claims.
Prior to focusing her practice on professional negligence, Megan represented and defended clients in an assortment of cases including catastrophic injury, contract disputes, insurance coverage, premises liability, product liability, trucking litigation, and wrongful death. Megan’s background and experience provide her with a unique perspective and familiarity of the issues commonly faced in medical negligence cases.
Megan graduated, with honors, from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law where she served as an Editor of the Southern Legal History Journal and a member of Mercer's Law Review.
