Dale Sherman

Dale joined MagMutual as Chief Litigation Officer and Partner in 2026. Prior to MagMutual, he had a wide-ranging legal and business career in insurance. His variety of past roles include serving as first chair on dozens of jury trials; leading large-scale Staff Counsel operations; leading Casualty Claims; managing the defense of high-exposure litigation countrywide; and serving as General Counsel to Claims at two different companies. Dale holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Illinois College of Law. He is a member of the Illinois Bar and has served for ten years on the Advisory Board for industry group CLM (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance).
