Welcoming New Leadership 

As part of our growth, we’re evolving our leadership by welcoming a new voice to our Board of Directors: Dr. Marshaleen King, a Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist at Morehouse School of Medicine and Grady Hospital.  

In addition to her clinical and academic leadership as well as her passion for patient safety, Dr. King has a history with MagMutual. She has served as a consulting physician for our educational resources and as a member of the Georgia Claims Committee, where she helped advance initiatives to improve patient safety and claims outcomes. Her experience and dedication will bring fresh perspective and energy to our Board as we continue ensuring a strong future for our PolicyOwners. 

Supporting Healthcare Communities

Just as we strengthen our leadership, we also extend our impact by giving back to the physicians and communities that make healthcare possible.  In 2024, the MagMutual Foundation distributed $322,000 in grants, directly supporting initiatives for impaired healthcare workers, scholarships that promote diversity, pro-bono clinics, Board-requested projects and employee-led volunteer programs.

These grants reached nine states across the country—from Florida to Michigan.

Every grant reflects your impact as PolicyOwners by expanding access to care, promoting diversity and supporting the well-being of healthcare providers.

Continuing Our Impact 

We’re continuing to build on this impact and will soon announce the recipients of our 2025 Foundation grants. Through this work, we reinforce the values we share with you: supporting physicians, protecting practices and creating positive change in medicine.
